On Wednesday i went to see Katy Perry in Nottingham with my sister and she was amazing! If someone asked me who my favourite artist, she probably wouldn't be the first person i'd say, and you might think why did i go see her? But i'm a big fan of her, she always come across really friendly and fun, a real girl's girl, who you'd want to go on a night out with. She even admitted that she's a fan of Gypsy Weddings and TOWIE! Her album Teenage Dream has a fun pop, slightly camp sound that really easy to listen to and some good summer songs to blast whilst driving. Now i know everyone was really critical about her voice after the X Factor performance but i can vouch her voice is flawless, she can definitely hit those high notes in Firework - if anyone has tried singing that song you'll know it's pretty hard not to sound like Wagner!

I did take a few photos but my camera is so shit it's embarrassing and then my sister made the fatal error of not charging hers so only got a few! I really wanted to show her costume changes of which there were lots and i mean lots but sadly my camera wasn't up to the job. I've edited a few so you can kinda see what she wore and the set, which was based on the Calfornia Gurls video - apologies in advance for the quality.

Cupcake dress - nom, nom!

Onto what i wore, even though we were standing we both wore heels which was a huge mistake!

Jeggings - Dorothy Perkins
Belt - River Island
Shoes - Office

Make-up wise i used the No7 Gel Eyeliner for the first time and i have to say i love this product, forget kohl, pencil or liquid, gel is the way forward for me. And then added Marks & Spencer's Dark Pink lipstick - a bright magenta shade with serious staying power. Sorry no pics to show you and you may notice the curls have gone, instead blow-dried and then curled.
