Over at Phoebe Does i spotted she had some amazing nail art going on involving the Chanel 'CC' logo. Now on first reflection i know these are very tacky and a little dare i say - My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding-ish but i do love my Coco Chanel and i just had to try it out for myself.

Oh yes! Full on chav-tastic! They actually don't look that bad in the above photo but after wearing them to work i think less is more definitely applies here, so i decided to redo the manicure with just one accent nail.

Now doesn't that look better?

Vintage Chanel alert!......Vintage Chanel alert.....!

As you can tell from the quote on my page, Coco Chanel is one of my greatest fashion hero's and there isn't much i wouldn't do to get my hands on a piece of Chanel not to mention vintage Chanel. Well helloooo! Checking my emails this morning i discover today's (or possibly yesterdays) ASOS newsletter featuring none other than vintage C-H-A-N-E-L!!! Now i thought i know ASOS are good but surely they can't be this good? Thinking it was someone selling Chanel on their new marketplace site (it's a bit like ebay but with better pics!) i thought I'd take a look but hell no ASOS are really selling vintage Chanel. Now I'm surprised they've got anything left to sell because if i was working for then i would've snapped it up pronto. My dream items from Chanel are the 2.25 handbag and the logo studded earrings - of which they are selling but they're still waaaaaaaaayyy outta my price league unless i put it on the credit card.....hmmmm.

Well inspired by this morning's news i decided to dig out my Chanel-esque bag courtesy of Warehouse and plan this evening's attire for pub grub with a side order of gossip.

Jumper - Next
Jeans - Primark
Belt - Dorothy Perkins
Bag - Warehouse
Shoes - Office
Hair - In need of some work!!

I'm loving my Next jumper at the mo - perfect for the cold weather - only problem is that it comes a bit short in the front not good if my muffin top decides to appear after I've eaten!

Watches galore

I am officially in love and his name is Michael.

I have a Michael Kors gold watch!!!

I eventually decided on the Michael Kors after dragging my mum around all the jewellers in town. Before, i was torn between the Kors or a ToyWatch, but i couldn't find the shop that sold the ToyWatch so Kors it was, and even that was hard to find only Debenhams or John Lewis had them in stock. There were quite a few i liked but i settled on a MK5166.

I'm so gutted though, as in my excited haste to buy and not to mention the bright shop lights dazzling me, i failed to notice that there are 2 crystals missing! Only found out when i got it home so now i need to take it back. The only problem being is that it was the last one in the shop and i didn't even get a discount but then i never asked! I've spoken to customer services who weren't really that helpful, you would think that because they have sold me a faulty item, they could have one delivered to the store waiting for me to exchange? But no, i can get it delivered to the store but only if i pay for it upfront online - great -so I'm going to have fork out another £199. Lets hope the new one is perfect. I do love it though, my mum said i should have gone with one without the crystals in case they fall out again, but i do love a little bit of bling. 

Now I've found Michael i think i could be faithful to him for life as i also love this white chronograph too, definitely on a wish-list to buy.

This is like a matte off-white and would look really good with a tan, i think it also came in different colours like lilac so very fashionable for now.

Anyway like i said before, now i've got the expensive gold watch i was going to get a cheap plastic watch for casual wear and i have found the best Chanel J12 lookalike at Argos!

Hooray! I have reached the grand ol' age of 24 - cue whoop whoops! I really wanted the Chanel 2.55 below, but looks like I may have to wait until I'm 30 or even 40 or 50 for one of those bad boys! 


1. Coco Chanel 2.55 - always top of the list! If I ever win the lottery or get my dream job this will my first purchase - in the words of a Geordie, cannae wait man!

I'm thinking I'm needing a new watch and I'm deliberating between the Michael Kors Gold Watch or a Black ToyWatch - decisions, decisions.  I think the Kors is winning slightly but reserving judgement until I see the ToyWatch in the flesh. 

Or cunning thought I buy the Kors (around £150) and i can buy a cheaper plastic black watch that i can wear for day - thinking Next, River Island or even god forbid I've heard Argos sell them - eek, let's hope it's not Elizabeth Duke!
